[metapost] Align boxes

Hi there,

I am new with metapost and metaobj. I am using metaobj to do my figure and I
am trying to draw a sequence of boxes horizontally aligned but with the same
height. I read that this is easily done using the boxes package with the
"boxjoin" function. From "Drawing Boxes with MetaPost":
	
	boxjoin(a.se=b.sw, a.ne=b.nw);

This makes all the subsequent boxes horizontally aligned with the same height.

However, I am not able to do this with metaobj.

Any idea on how to do this?
