2018 TUG Membership Form

If you are brand-new to TUG, you can use either the simplified trial membership form, or the full form below, as you prefer.

A summary of the benefits for TUG membership in 2018:

TUGboat volume for 2018: three issues.
TeX Collection 2018 software: includes TeX Live, proTeXt, MacTeX, and CTAN.
Discounts on meeting fees, Lucida fonts and other store purchases, books, WinEdt licenses, and more. (More info on TUG's aims and benefits, summary of recent activity.)

Also, for 2018, all new individual TUG members will be automatically entered into a lottery for a prize of a typography book. Good luck!

Membership dues are generally tax deductible (at least in the USA), less value of benefits, which for this year is calculated as $40 (all amounts in US dollars). Voluntary donations are generally fully tax deductible (again, at least in the USA). More info on TUG's tax-exempt status.

Making a donation instead of joining is also most welcome, if that's your preference.

2018 TUG membership dues (select one, more info):
	$20	Trial individual membership - or use the simplified trial membership form. Includes all benefits: printed TUGboat, software DVD, etc. For brand-new members of TUG!
	$105	Regular individual membership. Includes the software DVD, printed TUGboat.
	$75	Special individual membership. You may join at this special rate if you are a (please select): senior student new graduate citizen of country with modest economy. (instructions) Check here to make a general donation of the difference between the regular and special membership rates. For other donations, please see items below.
	$110	Non-voting subscription for, e.g., libraries. Subscribers are invoiced annually.
	$500	Institutional membership. Includes site-wide electronic access to the members area, as well as up to eight individual physical memberships (thus providing a discount); also, grateful acknowledgement both online and in TUGboat.
To join for additional years at this year's rate (except trial memberships; for up to 10 years, non-refundable): multiply by the number of years, add to the total, and mention it in the comments field at the bottom; just ignore the warning on the results page.

Membership options:
	–$35	Check here to omit shipping of all physical benefits (TUGboat, software), and thus get a reduced fee. Not applicable to trial memberships. (Current TUGboat issues and software are available to all members electronically.)

Additional materials from last year: These options are in addition to standard membership benefits and materials.
	$25	TUGboat volume for last year (three issues for 2017; also, previous years available separately)
	$10	TeX Collection DVD for last year (2017) (the 2018 DVD is released, so only order this for historical reasons)

If you wish to pay by check or bank transfer, please print the PDF membership form (letter, a4) and mail or fax it to the address given there.

If you are a brand-new member, welcome! — and please fill out all relevant fields. If you are a renewing member and your other information is unchanged, you need provide only your name, current email address, and postal code.

Electronic notices will reach you much faster than printed ones. But if you don't want to be contacted by email at all, just indicate as much in the comment field, and we will respect your wishes.
