Justin, I hope you're not placing too much weight on negative answers to
such questions. Or at least, if you are, you've gone to great lengths to make
sure that MFD includes representatives from every single field in which TeX
is used. We have to be careful not to make the new maths encodings just a
collection of the symbols used by its designers, or it will die a very
rapid death.
