[Xy-pic] XY and babel: an example

\usepackage[french]{babel}
\french
   \usepackage[all]{xy}
\english
\begin{document}

\xymatrix at M=0pt{
A\ar[dr]!L&&A\ar[dl]\\
&B\POS!R\ar[u]
}

\end{document}

This has the advantage of not needing an edit for
every diagram.
The downside is that you may get really weird error
messages, with incomplete Xy-pic coding that results
in the ! being expanded rather than parsed.
There may be some other uses, deep inside some packages
or extensions, where this will fail too.

So, be warned!
