3.7?)

Dear All,
A "fixes" release is, as Jurgen and many others have pointed out, much
overdue.
How about if I update the master sources on
<http://tug.org/applications/Xy-pic/> to 3.8 in, say, a week. I'll
correct the pointers to defunct websites etc. in the code as well as
incorporate any patches I receive during the week; hopefully 3.8 can then
unify all the little improvements and fixes people are running.
In order for this to be realisitic patches should be submitted according
to the following rules:
1. Please send your patches in a single file that the "patch" command
(http://www.fsf.org/software/patch/) can understand. (The most reliable
patches are made with the "diff -u" command if you have that.)
2. Please try to make your patches into *source patches* if at all
possible, i.e., patches to the files under the src/ directory (most with
the extension ".doc" which, of course, means literally documented TeX
code, what else? :-).
3. Make sure to include the following header (personalized with YOUR NAME
<EMAIL> replaced with your name and email) at the top of the patch file:
# This file is part of the Xy-pic macro package.
# Copyright (c) 1991-2003 Kristoffer H. Rose <krisrose at tug.org>
