[Xy-pic] XY-pic and dvipsone

This was posted to comp.text.tex recently, but I haven't received any
response so
far so I try this more specific list.

Any suggestions how to achieve rotated text using XY-pic and dvipsone,
either by using some of the available options or by creating a driver
file (dvipsone is not one of the provided driver options, I know)?
I've tried the most obvious XY options but as soon as I involve rotate
the resulting ps file does not pass through Acrobat Distiller.

I'm running Y&Y 2.2 and W2K.
