[Tugindia] specifying a font size for an environment (like tabular or table)

Hello everyone

I was wondering if there is an easy way to specify the default font
size in all the tables in a document. For example, while the default
text font size is \normalsize, I want my all my tables to have a font
size of \small.

Right now, I'm specifying the size manually.
