[Tugindia] RE: Section Not proper

Dear All,

In an article, the section count and section heading is in 14pt.
I have fixed it using 

\newcommand\section{\@startsection {section}{1}{\z@}%
                                   {-24pt}%   \@plus 18pt \@minus 0pt
                                   {12pt}%
                                   {\sf\LARGE}}

But, it affects the point size of refered part " \ref{sec1} ".
That is, \ref{sec1} - is also get 14pt size.

Please suggest me, how to treat the header, without changing the pt. size of \ref.
