[Tugindia] devanagari numerals

Hi,

I'm using the devnag package (\usepackage{dev} and the devnag
preprocessor) for typesetting a letter in devanagari. While using the
'letter' document class, I found that the numerals in the body of the
letter could be obtained in devanagari by putting \dnnum, but not so
for the numbers in the date (which I wrote in devanagari by using
\renewcommand \today) and the return address. What could be done?
