[Tugindia] Help - question about increemnting table numbers

A {\footnotesize....} or {\small....} around the \begin{table}....\end{table} environment actually reduces the size of the table without affecting the readability too much. Uh, on the other hand maybe you don't want to reduce the font size for the large table.
