Two great books on TeX previously published by Addison - Wesley, and are out of stock are released under GPL licence. The names are as follows:

1) TeX by Topic, A TeXnicians Reference by Victor Eijkhout in pdf format.

2) TeX for the Impatient by Paul W Abrahams, Kathryn A Hargreaves and Karl Berry in DVI format.

Both are available at www.tex.org. Interested persons may get them.
