[Tugindia] pagestyle in thesis

Is there not a \pagestyle{plain} which provides centered page number
alone? But it is a footer. If you need it as header, either you might
define a pagestyle like \ps at custom (which can be invoked with the
command \pagestyle{custom}) or try fancyhdr.sty package.
