[Tugindia] How to ...Books ??

Hello,
Thanks for the info on `Books'. Yes I would like to
have Book Chapters start numbering with 1,2 and so on.
The Sections for some reason start 0.1,0.2, et cetera
!! This I cannot understand! 

Also can H.S. Rai please elaborate on the term `IMO'.
I am still a novice TeX user.
