[Tugindia] Colors in prosper

Hello,

I am facing a problem in getting the following rendered properly.

  \usepackage{enumerate}

    \begin{slide}[Wipe]{Bibliography}
       \begin{itemize}
         \item {{\yellow Ladd and Palmer}}

         \item {{\yellow Sherwood, D.}}, \textsl{Crystals, X-rays and Proteins}, 
                Longman Press, U.K.

         \item {{\yellow Buerger, M.J.}}, \textsl{Crystal Structure
                Analysis}.
       \end{itemize}

    \end{slide}

  \end{document}


The slide compiles fine. But the text marked {{\yellow...}} do not come
out in yellow. The same construct works fine elsewhere. Can it not be
used for the first word of an \item?
