A Summary program of TUG 2002 is available at:

  http://www.tug.org.in/tug2002/program.html

Abstracts of all the talks will be released very soon. The pages on
accommodation and travel have been updated. We're working on the
registration pages and will be up within a couple of days.

The following pre-conference tutorials are planned:

1. An introduction to LaTeX--a full day tutorial aimed at the novice
users. A team of five persons will be handling all of the basic
LaTeX usage a novice user needs to know. Also includes a hands on
session in the IIITM-K classroom, where participants can experiment
what they have learnt with assistance from TeX professionals.

2. TeX to SGML/XML conversion technologies and processing of XML
documents, the LaTeX way -- half day tutorial (Radhakrishnan).

3. TeX to SGML/XML conversion technologies and processing of XML
documents, the ConTeXt way -- half day tutorial (Hans Hagen).

4. Omega and non-Latin scripts typesetting -- half day tutorial
(John Plaice)

All are requested to comment on the above themes, they may also
suggest if anyone of the above is not worth enough to run a
tutorial or if they want some other theme to be included.
