I tried using natbib with pdfscreen but I am getting the same problem:
Unknown option 'natbib' for pdfscreen.

I am using pdfscreen package for my pesentation. My problem: I am
not able to use the longtable package or the harvard package for
   references, while making the slides.

The slide environment is a box with a width equivalent to \textwidth
and height to \textheight. As such anything that spans to multiple
screens is not possible inside the slide. At the moment, you need to
make different tables that might fit each screen. I know, it is
painfull and you loose your freedom to use the tabular material
without bothering the length. Sorry, I'm out wits how to solve this
without manual intervention.

Secondly, harvard package is not compatible with hyperref.sty.
Actually it is not a problem of pdfscreen or hyperref as well.
Someone should come forward to write a wrapper package that can make
harvard and hyperref marry each other.

However, you can make use of natbib.sty together with hypernat.sty
which will provide you all that is (and even more) offered by
harvard. Indeed, natbib is the best way for any kind of
bibliographic citation and listing.
