I have a problem with figure no.s ; I want to call 2 consecutive figures as, say, Figure 1a and Figure 1b . The figure no.s accompanying the figure body should contain that and also whenever I give a citation to them it should automatically generate the no.s 1a and 1b rather than 1 and 2 in the text. can someone suggest something? thanks...
