error message

I just completed having my iMAC-27 computer repaired and upgraded and tried to typeset the same document that was using before the replacement.  It runs and produces the same result as before but with frequent stops giving the error message:
%%%% WARNING: Transparency operations ignored - need to use -dALLOWPSTRANSPARENCY

Can anyone give me any information on how to handle this problem?   My text editor is TexShop.
