[texhax] download successful, installation not working

Hi Liviu, Justin, Bill,

I am grateful for your prompt help with downloading. After asking Mac
Help, forums, and my local (fairly incompetent) Mac dealer, the latter
eventually understood that the new MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1 allows only
downloads from iStore and some other sites. All others are blocked. Only
the obscure (to me) "sudo spctl --master-disable" enables such
downloads, including MacTeX. (Also Finder->File->Open works.)

My installation finished with the fanfare "Installation successful". The
files are all in my /usr/local/texlive/2017; see below. I added that
path to my .../Preferences/Typesetting; see attached. The same happens
with LuaLaTeX and XeLaTeX. What is wrong?
