[texhax] confused queries...

I've put in a fair bit of effort in the past to help Dr. Corbet and was ``rewarded'' by him heaping abuse and complaints on me (see the ``ANAGNORESIS'' thread).

FWIW, I don't believe he subscribes, so the only missives which he'll receive are those which were directly addressed to him, which seems to only be the helpful ones.

I sent this off-list, but am not ashamed to publicly make a statement re: Dr. Corbet's being a person who ``deserves to pay for support'':

Well yes, but not LaTeX support. Dr. Corbet is the first person to make me retract my statement that I wouldn't wish Microsoft Word on even an enemy --- I do now wish that he'd give up on LaTeX and switch to Microsoft Word --- he's the only person I know of that deserves that sort of misery.

And I regret having been helpful to his initial queries on this list.

``Ingratitude is the essence of vileness.'' --- Immanuel Kant

``Ingratitude perverts all the measures of religion and society, by making it dangerous to be charitable and good-natured'' --- Encyclopaedia Perthensis; or, Universal dictionary of Knowledge, http://books.google.com/books?id=zXkltiv3W3UC&pg=PA159&lpg=PA159#v=onepage&q&f=false

(who is, I'm afraid, wanting in charity and benevolence)
