[texhax] extracting a plain text file of the final document

[jtzzaa11-texhax2 at yahoo.com]

I've tried using pdftotext to obtain a plain text file, but I'm getting the following error:
Error: Illegal entry in bfrange block in ToUnicode CMap

pdftotext is whatever is installed on my debian linux machine.

Is this font related? or something else?.
