I have *not* upgraded myself to Leopard, but MacTeX is the official  
TeXLive distribution for the Mac:

You can subscribe to the TeX on Mac OS X mailing list in

http://www.esm.psu.edu/mac-tex/

You'll find many people there that are already using Leopard.
