[texhax] footnote in minipage environment

Dear Philip,
I just try \renewcommand\thempfootnote{\alph{mpfootnote}}; but it didn't
solve my problem.
The footnote mark in minipage environment still appear using alphabet
instead of number. FYI, i used book as documentclass. Can you help me again?
Btw, which link you recommend as FAQ which contained explanation about
footnote in minipage environment?
