Well, two major / well-known free ones.

There're a number of other commercial distributions (PC TeX, TrueTeX
&c.) and a couple of other free ones (most notably W32TeX, http://
www.fsci.fuk.kindai.ac.jp/kakuto/win32-ptex/web2c75-e.html ) as well
as one which is partially freed, but in a non-working state (Y&Y TeX
which is now held by TUG --- has anyone managed to pull anything
useful from it yet?)

\end{pedantry}

No offense meant, just trying to keep things as compleat and
informative as possible.

William
(who uses w32tex 'cause it includes xetex and is a comparatively
small download)
