Hyperlatex is still maintained: http://hyperlatex.sourceforge.net.
Admittedly it's not likely to go much further in its development, but
it's still a useful tool, and does a better job of conversion than many
general-purpose converters.

Version 2.9 is in testing and due out in within a couple of weeks.
