[texhax] can't run tex after aix upgrade

Yes, it would seem AIX 5.2 libraries aren't upward-compatible with 5.1.
Too bad.

Meanwhile, I guess you have tried to compile from source, based on the
mail from you that Thomas E. forwarded to tex-k.  That's probably the
best way out.

FYI, the TeX Live 2005 AIX binaries were built on 4.3.  Maybe they would
work (http://tug.org/texlive), or maybe that's what you were already
trying.  Just thought I'd mention it.
