[texhax] QUERY: grammar checkers for LaTeX

Does anyone know a tool/utility to strip all latex code from a file?

The only way I found is by viewing the pdf, saving it as plain text. However 
the whole text is partitioned/segmented by lines. I prefer keeping the 
paragraphs in-tact. The reason is so that I can load up my thesis in MS Word 
and do a spell and grammar check (very important).

Unless there are very good grammar checks for latex documents?
