Insert the following command in the preambule:

\makeatletter
\def\@seccntformat#1{\hskip-15mm\protect\makebox[15mm][l]{\csname 
the#1\endcsname}}
\makeatother

Note that the dimmension 15mm is just set as an example and you can put 
what ever you want.
