[texhax] help needed with xfig (urgent)

I don't think the idiology of xfig or PostScrip fits what you are trying
to do.  (Non-transparent ink is layered on top of a page.)  You may want
to convert your diagrams into a raster format, open them with GIMP (or a
similar) editor and then overlay them (look at the opacity factor).
