The TUGIndia online LaTeX Tutorial is now available in book format.
You might download the formatted pdf and source tarball which has all
the source TeX files and supporting packages at:

I tried to index the book and add a multilevel index, sorry, couldn't
do it owing to the obvious reasons of never ending preoccupations at
work.  People are requested to join the 'ltxprimer' project at
http://sarovar.org and help the tutorial team by adding more chapters,
revising the existing ones, making indexes and glossaries, etc.

We would be ever thankful for that.

As the name indicates, the book is aimed at the novice LaTeX user and
is released under GNU FDL.
