The first example command given by 'tlmgr --help' is

     "tlmgr option repository http://mirror.ctan.org/systems/texlive/tlnet"

This example is repeated later under the help for 'tlmgr option'. 
Norbert, maybe it would be useful to give the shorter version (with the 
URL replaced by "ctan") instead of or in addition to the long version.
