These are doc files which are word files according to the file
command. There are only 2, both accompanied by pdfs:
./doc/fonts/stix/STIX_Font_1.1.1-latex_Release_Documentation.doc
./doc/fonts/stix/STIX_Font_1.1.1_Release_Documentation.doc
There are also docx documents, again, accompanied by pdfs:
./doc/fonts/tex-gyre-math/test-word-texgyre_pagella_math.docx
./doc/fonts/tex-gyre-math/test-word-texgyre_schola_math.docx
./doc/fonts/tex-gyre-math/test-word-texgyre_bonum_math.docx
./doc/fonts/tex-gyre-math/test-word-texgyre_dejavu_math.docx
./doc/fonts/tex-gyre-math/test-word-texgyre_termes_math.docx
./doc/fonts/lm-math/test-word-latinmodern_math.docx
