[tex-live] Installation bug report - win7

Now I should have a complete dump of the registry (as Reinhard suggested)

(plus converted to utf8, halfing the size ;-)

I can find loads and loads of lines wih 'software/microsoft/windows/currentversion'

The undefined value is
  my $uninst_key = $Registry -> Open((admin() ? "LMachine" : "CUser") .
    "/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/",
    {Access => KEY_ALL_ACCESS()});

Can you open the registry, and check both the LMachine and CUser
followed by ....(see above) and whether these keys are available?
