It seems that xindy does not use relative file names but tries to find
the full file name. If I remember well, xindy is not unicode aware and
uses just bytes, that's why the language modules are compiled and
unicode is not directly used for sorting. The system returns the path
name in UTF-8 but xindy does not understand it.

(The file name reminds me Lille Klaus saying: "Hip, hip, alle mine heste.")
