[tex-live] TL2012 texmf-local issue

    I just installed TL2012 pretest, with MacTeX version. However, the
    texmf-local directory and the TEXMFLOCAL variable now points to
    /usr/local/texlive/2012/texmf-local instead of
    /usr/local/texlive/texmf-local as before. Is is on purpose?

No changes to TEXMFLOCAL are intended.  From mail on the mactex list, I
believe that was a bug introduced in the MacTeX package (due to problems
with the initial TL pretest ... anyway ...).

Please give it a couple of days to settle and try again.
