    Is the i386-linux dvipdfmx binary up to date?  

The i386-linux/dvipdfmx binary in svn hasn't changed since the TL'11
release.  Once again: we don't, as a rule, update binaries between the
major releases.  Too destabilizing.

    and you get the attached PDF.  I suspect a problem with virtual fonts.

Thanks for the report.  I'm sure Norbert or Peter or I or someone will
try it with the current sources, though few changes have been made.
