[tex-live] Installing latest TeX Live on Ubuntu

I just keep /opt as a separate partition (fairly large), and then 
install TL in /opt/texlive

Then all I have to do is to change /etc/environment (on Ubunut) plus 
perhaps use an appropriate equivs package to let Ubuntu know I've added 
LaTeX
