Thanks, this gives the same result as Windows (except for the trailing
double-slash).

The package I tried to fix via tlmgr was "collection-fontsextra" and I
remember that specifically the "allrunes" packages (among many others)
was installed in the .../2011/font/ folder and not below any texmf
folder. Unfortunately after applying my solution (see [1]) I can't
reproduce the problem (I didn't make a log of the move/merge, sorry).
I therefore assume that the information you requested would not help
you; correct me if I'm wrong (I'd send you the information then).

I only remember vaguely what folders I moved (there were at least
three maybe four):
- fonts: .../2011/fonts/  ==> .../2011/texmf-dist/fonts/
- doc  : .../2011/doc/   ==> .../2011/texmf-dist/doc/
- tex  : .../2011/tex/    ==> .../2011/texmf-dist/tex/

I didn't adjust any paths and I don't have any problems regarding this
matter so far.
