[tex-live] Building TeX Live 2009 from source on Snow Leopard

You'll need to do a 32-bit build (the default is 64-bit on SL). XeTeX uses some Mac APIs that are not available in the 64-bit frameworks.

I'm not sure exactly how to achieve that within the TL build process, but basically it should involve passing the -arch i386 flag to the compiler.
