[tex-live] epstopdf inclusion and shell-escape.

Howdy,

A purely speculative question. Since there seems to be a problem with  
restricted shell escape (at least as a default) could the graphic(x/s)  
package automatically load epstopdf if pdflatex is being run and shell- 
escape (e.g., via the --shell-escape option) is explicitly invoked?  
Not as automatic as a default restricted shell escape would be but  
still useful.
