expecting too much of the internet?

running a ctan host, i quite often find very large mirror transfers
failing and needing to be restarted.  you're asking for 1947 packages to
be downloaded, each of which may involve two or three files downloaded;
this is a lot to ask.

it will complete, eventually.  i would guess.
