Hi,
thanks to Norbert's talks about TL at BachoTeX I learned about autobackup etc.,
but right now the two most obious methods to set autobackup to value -1 don't work:
harald > tlmgr option autobackup -1
Unknown option: 1
Usage:
tlmgr [*option*]... *action* [*option*]... [*operand*]...
harald > tlmgr option autobackup=-1
Option autobackup=-1 is currently not supported.
and the usage of " -- " is not documented in the man page:
harald > sudo tlmgr -- option autobackup -1
tlmgr: setting option autobackup to -1.
one more comment about setting "backupdir":
"tlmgr backupdir /does/not/exist" does not warn that the backup directory
does not exist yet (and/or ask to create it) which would be helpful.
right now the next update will just fail because of the missing directory...
thanks,
Harald
