[tex-live] install-tl with network location, but without sneaky updates?

Hi,

  My goal is simple: perform multiple network installations (for multiple hosts), strictly identical to each other (Ideally all should be 2008-release).

I could not find a way to do this with install-tl. I tried to point it to the ISO image exported through http:// but this seems to break install-tl

Any clue? Thanks in advance!

PS: NFS is unfortunately not an option.
