Ah, I have learned something :-)  Many thanks, Manuel,
and yes, I would strongly support a change along the
lines of

 >>     arch add <architecture>
 >>             Add executables for the specified architecture(s) to the installation.

but only if I have parsed that first line correctly;
as it is currently written, it is impossible to tell
whether the first and/or second "arch" is notion or
metanotion ...
