By the way, i'm sorry I forgot to say it earlier, but since a few days
there is a separate mailing list for texdoc (texdoc AT tug.org) in order
to avoid bloating the main texlive list.

I suppose we'd better finish this discussion here for readability's
sake, but afterwards it would be better to use the dedicated mailing
list for texdoc-related discussions.
