[tex-live] mpost/mfplain without bounding frames

Hi,
I've been using mpost with mfplain on various Metafont sources to
produce EPS pictures of glyphs in the sources, so
mpost '&./mfplain \mag=1; truecorners:=0; filenametemplate
"%j-%3c.eps"; input skt10.mf'
I can then import the picture into FontForge. This sort of works,
with some annoying complications.
One is that every glyph is given a frame, consisting of five thin
rectangles (two of them below the character), that
seem to be related to the bounding box.
I can see these at the end of each .eps file, stuff like
newpath 0 -13.64217 moveto
0 221.00171 lineto stroke
newpath 172.79935 -13.64217 moveto
172.79935 221.00171 lineto stroke
How can I turn this feature off?
Thanks!
