By the way, where can I get information about made changes?

Most of the package updates come from CTAN. The http://tug.org home
page shows the last few, and there's an rss feed at
http://www.mail-archive.com/ctan-ann@dante.de/maillist.xml, as well as
the ctan-ann mailing list, comp.text.tex, etc. (See
http://tug.org/ctan.html.)

As for our constant non-CTAN tweaking of the infrastructure and scripts,
the only information is the svnlog file in the repository at
Build/log/svnlog. (See http://tug.org/texlive/svn.) The log messages
are pretty laconic. There's always svn diff if you want the facts :).

Thanks for testing.

I've found the file http://tug.org/texlive/Contents/live/doc.html on web from

Both (an updated) doc.html and index.html are in the distribution. Like
Norbert, I am baffled as to why you don't have them. They are in the
texlive.infra package, and that's fundamental to the whole thing ...
