I first thought these files could just be deleted, but

$ kpsewhich cmastro10.mf
/usr/share/texmf-texlive/fonts/source/public/cmastro/cmastro10.mf
$ mktexpk cmastro10.300pk
mktexpk: don't know how to create bitmap font for cmastro10.300pk.
