[tex-live] [MetaPost] truncated map file

With the example you posted and using mptopdf (because mpost alone
doesn't work here) I get:

(mpost alone is not working since I have no format for it and didn't
bother installing it yet - using standalone ConTeXt distribution on
Mac, MetaPost 0.993)


With gwTeX I get:

With standalone ConTeXt & -mem=metafun option I get

Apparently it's not only MikTeX's problem. Just in case that logs help
you ... I don't understand very well what's going on behind the
scenes.
