[tex-live] texdoc in luatex

    Should tools like texdoc or viewers like xpdf be written such that
    they can transparently access those files, or isn't it worth it?

Regardless of what happens in TL, in general it seems like a nice
feature that is probably not too hard to add, IMHO.  

So if you want to do it in texdoc, why not?  For xpdf, have to ask
Derek.  He may or may not care to implement it.

As for what pdf's end up on TL, my guiding principle is to copy what's
on CTAN.  Anything else just leads to more trouble than it's worth, in
my experience.
